Abstract

The control device uses a sensor (9) detecting the rotation of one of the counter-pressure rollers (2) cooperating with the driven transport rollers (4) for the printing plate (5), to indicate the feeding of the printing plate during the automised plate changing procedure. Pref. the counter-pressure roller has a measuring cuff (8) with peripheral slits in the form of a crown ring, the sensor provided by an inductive proximity sensor, providing a signal when the measuring cuff is rotated together with the counter-pressure roller. <IMAGE>
