Abstract
The heat exchanger has a panel construction, and the airflow is guided in ducts between the panels, in directions which alternate between successive ducts. The direction of the airflow is diverted by guides (4), in order to choke the flow and to create turbulence. The guides may have surfaces (5) to deflect the airflow transversely, or through a predetermined angle, and these may have contoured sections with raised parts. The guides may be L-shaped, Z-shaped or may have a meandering path, and may have bent separating edges (8) which act as flanges (9) for successive panels to rest on.
