Abstract

The window frame (3) hinges on a horizontal and roughly central axis, its movement being aided by a spring (17). The latter is telescopic, with a heat (23) hinging on the window frame (3), while its other end (25) is detachable from a mounting (22) in the fixed frame (2). The mounting contains a passage (29) for the spring. A guide track (30) can be provided on the top surface of the frame (2). The passage can have a portion movable as a guide member rides over it. A hinge axis can be provided on the movable portion.
