Abstract

The procedure consists of placing the gloves (30) flat on two neighboring supports (1,2) positioned so that part of the gloves is on one and another part on the other. A separator card (10) is then placed on one part of the gloves. The other part is folded over onto the card, and the folded gloves and card are moved towards a packaging unit. At least one of the two supports is in the form of a belt or roller mechanism which is used to pass the folded gloves to the packaging unit, where they are enclosed between two layers of welded and thermo-shrink film in a rigid surround with a suspension ring.
