Abstract

A Florentine blind contains a rotatably mounted driveable cloth shaft, on which can be wound a Florentine cloth fastened to it at the end. Two drop arms (5) mounted pivotably about a pivot axis at one end in wall pivot bearings (6) serve for tensioning the lowered Florentine cloth, and for this purpose they are prestressed in the direction of the swung-down position by means of a prestressing device (11). Each of the drop arms (5) consists of two parts (9, 10) movable relative to one another in the longitudinal direction, the prestressing device (11) being arranged cinematically between these two parts (9, 10), whilst the part (9) of the drop arms (5) which is connected to the drop rod is anchored to the pivot bearing (6) via a tension means (29) guided about the pivot axis (7). <IMAGE>
