Abstract

The object of the invention is to provide a sealing device that will withstand destruction as well as possible, and is tamper-proof and difficult to reproduce. This object is achieved by a sealing device comprising a male part (1) and a female part (2); the male part (1) consists of a closed spring (3) with one end connected to a head forming a stop (6) and the other end being fitted with a male end-piece (5) which has a locking groove (15), this male part (1) being capable of snap-fitting with a female part (2); and the female part is formed by a sheath (10) receiving internally a locking member (1) which is secured within the groove of the male end-piece (5) when the latter is introduced into the sheath (10). The invention is chiefly of application in container door locking. <IMAGE>
