Abstract
On the roller shutter shaft (1), via which the roller shutter is guided, two externally located driver wheels (6, 7) are arranged in a fixed manner, while two internally located driver wheels (8, 9) are mounted in a rotationally fixed manner but axially displaceably. Between one externally located and one internally located wheel (6, 8; 7, 9), there is in each case situated a helical spring (10) which surrounds the roller shutter shaft (1), and one end (11) of which is connected in a stationary manner to a wall (4, 5) and the other end (13) of which is connected in a fixed manner to the internally located wheel (8, 9). By axial displacement of one of the internally located wheels (8, 9) into a circular-profile shaped part (16) of the roller shutter shaft (1), twisting of the internally located wheel (8, 9) is made possible. As a result, a torsional force is imposed upon the helical spring (10) which exerts a torsional force on the roller shutter shaft (1). The rotational forces acting on the roller shutter shaft (1) as a result of the weight of the roller shutter can be compensated with this torsional force so that the roller shutter can be stopped and then remains stationary in any position.
