Abstract

Le procédé de tronçonnage-flettage combinés à l'aide d'outils abrasifs d'articles de verrerie ou de cristallerie est réalisé alors que l'article (47) est maintenu sensiblement vertical et que la calotte (48) constitue la partie inférieure de la masse de verre ou de cristal constituant l'article (47) à usiner. Lors du tronçonnage, deux disques abrasifs (10) pénètrent sensiblement simultanément dans l'article (47) à tronçonner en des endroits et suivant des directions d'approche sensiblement opposées. Sur la même broche (13) sont montés un disque de tronçonnage (10) et une meule de flettage (11) de telle sorte que les opérations de tronçonnage et de flettage sont réalisées sur le même poste de travail. Des mécanismes comprenant les éléments (37, 39, 40, 21, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 33, 34, 35, 36) permettent une adaptation rapide et aisément modulable du dispositif entre les opérations de tronçonnage et de flettage. Une opération de flettage est effectuée en utilisant la face supérieure (44) de la partie abrasive (43) du disque à tronçonner (10).
