Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'acide tétrafluorophtalique, ce procédé comprenant les étapes consistant à : (a) faire réagir un fluorure de métal alcalin et au moins un composé imide répondant à la formule (I) ou (II) : dans lesquelles X1, X2, X3 et X4, qui peuvent être identiques ou différents, représentent chacun un atome de chlore ou un atome de brome, R1 représente un groupe organique monovalent et R2, un groupe organique bivalent, pour obtenir un tétrafluorophtalimide N-substitué et (b) hydrolyser le tétrafluorophtalimide en présence d'un acide.
