Device for ensuring the continuous re-entry of air into a receptacle with a draining neck.
The present invention relates to a device the object of which is to ensure the continuous re-entry of air into a resilient with a draining neck, so as to obtain a continuous and regular jet.
This result can be obtained by using a tube opening on the one hand at the bottom of the container and on the other hand outside this container.
According to the invention, this tube opens to the outside at a level higher than where. it opens into the receptacle so as to prevent any spillage of liquid to the outside through this tube.
In the case where the aforesaid tube is mounted in the tank, in which the receptacle is emptied, it is advantageously constituted by a tube having two branches.

ralleles and being able to slide in the direction of the axis of these branches. In addition, the air inlet section in this tube can 'be closed when it occupies its lowest position, position in which it can moreover be immobilized.
The invention also provides for the immobilization of the tube in its highest position. Other details and features of the invention will become apparent from the description of the drawings appended hereto which, by way of example, show in perspective, after axial section, a form of embodiment of the invention. invention.
Figures 1 and 2 show this embodiment before and during the emptying of a container, respectively.
Figure 1 shows a container with a neck 2 overturned above the orifice 3a of a reservoir 3 to be filled. This contains a U-shaped tube 4, one end 4a of which is closed, is accessible from the outside and the other closed end 4b of which is introduced into the neck 2a of a container 2. This tube is pierced near its ends of holes 4d and 4f. In the considered position of the tube 4, said holes are closed respectively by rings 3b and 5a mounted on the reservoir 3 and the sieve 5. In this way, when the receptacle 2 is inverted into the position shown, the liquid contained in this container cannot pass through tube 4.
If we then slide the tube 4: in the rings 3b and 5a so as to bring it into the position shown in Figure 2, the air entering through the holes 4d is sucked and regularly returns to the bottom of the container 2 while passing through holes 4f. In this way, it is therefore possible to place the container 2 in the orifice 3a of the reservoir without covering said tube 4 as is the case.

would have if this tube was fixed.
The amount of liquid which can pass through the holes 4f in the tube 4 while the latter is raised from the position of Figure 1 to the position of Figure 2 is minimal. Moreover, it would suffice to completely plug the holes 4d during the above-mentioned elevation to prevent any passage of liquid through the holes 4f during this elevation.
The invention also provides for being able to adjust the passage section of the holes 4d so as to adjust the flow of the liquid spilled. This adjustment can be effected, for example, by means of rings 6 which can be screwed more or less onto the end α of the tube 4 so as to vary the area of the holes 4d or their number.
The invention also provides that the tube 4 can be immobilized in any suitable way when it has been brought to its highest position. She. also provides for the means of immobilizing the tube 4 when it is in its lowest position and the holes 4d are inside the ring 3b. In this way, it is impossible to introduce any liquid into the tank through the tubes 4d. The aforementioned immobilization can for example be easily carried out by giving the branch of the tube 4 sliding in the filter 5 a length such that the end 4b of this branch abuts below the device for closing the orifice 3a. .
It is obvious that the invention is not exclusively limited to the embodiment shown and that many modifications can be made in the form, the constitution and the arrangement of the elements involved in its realization without departing. within the scope of the present invention.
