    Description   à l'appui d'une   Demande   de Brevet d'invention pour: "TRANSMISSION A   ROUES   MOTRICES ET DIRECTRICES POUR   VEHICULES   AU POMOBILES ";      La presête invention à pour objet un système de transmission a roues motrices et directrices pour vehicules automobiles,carac- térisé en ce que le pont différentiel,avec ses arbres,peut pivo ter autour d'un axe vertical,se déplacer verticalment et cscilè ler dans le plan   vertical,exécutant   toud les mouvements nécéssai res à diriger le vehicul et à la réalisation d'une souspension parfaite tout en commandant les roues,c'est à dire, fonctionnant comme organe de transmission entre les moteur et les roues. 



  Ce uistême de transmission est tres adapté pour les véhicules at adérence totale,dans lesquels les roues sont en   - même     @   temps motrices et directrices,et   particulierment   pour ceux Qui doivent parcourir des routes dont la manutention est irrégu lière,a'adaptant comme ça tres bien aux exigences du charriage militaire, Lus dessins annexés montent en manière scèmatique un   exemple de   construction du dispositif formant l'objet de l'invention. 



  La fig. 1 en est une vue d'ensemble la fig. 2 en est une coupe sur les rouages, en plus grande échel le. Le n. 1 indique un support monte de manière à pouvoir tour ner autour d'un axe vertical,solidal au chassis da vehicul. 



  Ce support est solidaire au moyen d'un joit à train baladeur a avec une boite 2, qui le suit dans les mouvements de rotation,m mais qui peut se déplacer librement dans un plan vertical,entre des bornes prévues. La boite 2 constitue le support du pont3, auquel est liée par des pivots qui permettent les oscillations

 au pont dans le plan vertical,tout en le solidarisant avec la boite 2,et l'oblligeant à en suivre les mouvements de ro talion   provenant   du commande de là direction. Le pont 3 est joint au   soppott   1 par des organes élastiques,tel que un res sort a boudin 4, Le commande de la direction aboutit au sop port l,à la boite 2, ou au pont 3 et en déterminent l'orienta tion.

   La transmission se fait comme suit: 
Une roue d'angle 5 reçoit le mouvement par le moteur,et le transmet,au moyen d'un arbre télescopique,6,et d'un pignon 7, à, une roue d'angle 8,montée dans la boite 2; un cardan, simple ou double joint cette roue la boite du diffé=   rential   10, et celle-ci, au moyen de ses stellytesll commande les arbres 12,qui portent,à l'autre bout,les poues 13. 



   Sur l'un de ces arbres 12 est disposé un joint ,ou embra yage   14,(à   dents ou à frictinn) qui permet,à volonté, de so   lidariser   la boite 10 et l'arbre pou annuller léffett du   dif     férentiel.   Ce dispositif permet d'obvier à un inconvénient dû au différentiel, ( c'est à dire que quand une roue dera pe,l'autre ne tire plus,et la machine s'immobilise) 
Dans le cas   présent,quan   Tétât du terrain donne lieu à des fréquents dérapages,on bloque le différentiel, et on assu- re par la une meilleure transmission aucune roue ne pouvant se rendre folle. 



   REVENDICATIONS I .   Transmission   pou véhicules automobiles,caractérisée en ce que la boite   du.   différentiel est solidaire à sa propre roue de commande au moyen d'un joint à la cardan centrale qui permet à la ligne des axes ( essieu ) d'osciller librem ment par   égard   à. l'arbre de transmission.

  This transmission system is very suitable for vehicles with total adherence, in which the wheels are at the same time driving and steering, and especially for those who have to travel on roads with irregular handling, thus adapting very well to the requirements of the military thrust, the accompanying drawings show in a schematic way an example of construction of the device forming the object of the invention.

  This support is secured by means of a sliding train joit a with a box 2, which follows it in the rotational movements, m but which can move freely in a vertical plane, between the terminals provided.  to the bridge in the vertical plane, while making it integral with the box 2, and obliging it to follow the rotational movements coming from the steering control. The bridge 3 is joined to the soppott 1 by elastic members, such as a coil spring 4. The steering control ends at the sop port 1, at the box 2, or at the bridge 3 and determine its orientation.

   The transmission is done as follows:
An angle wheel 5 receives the movement by the motor, and transmits it, by means of a telescopic shaft, 6, and a pinion 7, to an angle wheel 8, mounted in the box 2; a cardan joint, single or double, joins this wheel to the diffé = rential box 10, and this one, by means of its stellytesll controls the shafts 12, which carry, at the other end, the poes 13.
