Dans le brevet principal n 332378 et le premier brevet de perfectionnement, il a été décrit des filtres à café comportant en combinaison un récipient avec un corps de filtre à deux fonds perforés dont l'un est mobile, caractérises par le fait que le couvercle du corps de filtre comporte un diaphragme élastique intérieur monté de manière à laisser un joint étanche entre le couvercle et le bord du corps de filtre.
Le présent perfectionnement consiste à utiliser à l'inté- rieur du filtre et sur le fond fixe de celui-ci un dispositif qui permet de renoncer à l'emploi du double fond mobile servant à comprimer le café au fond du récipient. On sait que le café moulu, éventuellement additionné de chicorée, doit 'être compri- mé entre les deux fonds pour obtenir une infusion convenable et
