 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 3>

  Removable and interchangeable heels and soles for shoes
The present invention relates to removable and interchangeable heels and soles for footwear and preferably rubber heels.

   Said heels and soles offer the advantage of being able to be replaced at will, with great ease since they are only attached to the shoe by means of press studs.
This method of fixing makes it possible to obtain a speed of installation hitherto unknown with the heels or soles usually attached to the shoe by means of nails or screws which it is always quite difficult to extract after wear of the shoe. heel.

   A metal plate screwed onto the shoe carries the male parts of the press studs and the removable heel (or sole), the female parts embedded in the mass.

 <Desc / Clms Page number 2>

   The invention will be. moreover better understood during the following description and with reference to. attached drawing which my-. be fig.1, a sectional view of an ordinary shoe heel} provided with a support plate; fig.2, a sectional view of the rubber heel along line 2-2 of figure 3 '; fig. 3, a rubber taion - seen in plan; fig.4, a sectional view of a reinforced rubber heel, taken on line 4-4 of figure 5; fig.5, a plan view of the reinforced rubber heel; a view similar to. the figure. 3 in the case of a removable and interchangeable sole.

   The removable heel produced according to Figures 1 to 5 firstly comprises a fixed part 1. fixed to the ordinary standard 2 of the shoe, by means of nails or preferably screws 3. This fixed part 1 is made in the form of a 'a metal plate (aluminum., copper, sheet metal, etc.) in which are formed by stamping or fixed by riveting, heads 4 of press studs.

   The heel comprises a second removable part constituted by a heel 5, preferably of flexible material (rubber or other). In said heel are inserted, at the time of molding, female buttons or suction cups 6 into which the heads can penetrate and be fixed. 4 of the fixed part 1.

   We immediately see how easily the heel 5 can be placed and removed since it suffices to press or pull on the straps to achieve the desired goal.

   It is evident that the suction cups 6 can be more securely fixed in the heel 5 by means of a steel wire frame 7 surrounding and joining all the buttons. The ends of the wire 7a and 7b can be cut after molding the heel, flush with it. This gives a reinforced heel in which the suction cups have the maximum strength

 <Desc / Clms Page number 3>

The suction cups could .de the same be made or fixed on a metal plate or strip with numerous hooks. Embedded in the mass of the removable heel, the said plate or strip would also ensure very great strength.

   FIG. 6 shows the case of the application of the invention to a sole made of rubber or other flexible material, the same reference figures applying to the same parts.

   Any changes in shape and detail may moreover be made to the heels or soles described above. simple title. examples which are in no way limiting, without thereby departing from the spirit of the invention.
