OIL AND OLL GAS HEATING UNIT
The present invention relates to an oil and gas oil heating apparatus applicable to domestic or other fireplaces.
In this device, the fuel supply is carried out by gravity and the air intake is produced by the chimney draft.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
The accompanying drawing shows two examples of practical embodiments of the invention, illustrated by Figs. 1 and 2.
The device shown in FIG. 1 is constituted by a body 1, of parabolic internal profile, sealed in any suitable way in the hearth 2 of any heating device.
Screws 3 or in any other way 4 are fixed under the body 1, in which air intake openings 5 - 6 - 7 are formed. The base has a lower bracket 8, serving as a support for a fitting, fixed by two nuts 10. A tubing 11 forming a siphon and receiving the fuel is screwed into the lower part of the fitting 9. The connector 9 receives the threaded end of a tube 12, integral with a nozzle 13, the internal channel 14 of which is closed by a plug 15. In the channel 14 open transversely holes 16 and the cone of the tube. nozzle 13 is pierced with holes 17.
The cap 15 also ensures the Fixation, on the. nozzle 13, of a bell 18 concentric with the cone of the latter.
Lo fuel oil or gas oil, constituting the fuel, is poured into the. tubing 11, following a flow rate proportional to. consumption, the adjustment of which is obtained by a valve or in any other way.
The fuel refills by gravity the channel 14 of the nozzle 13 and escapes through the orifices 16, where it comes into contact with the internal wall of the bell 18.
This, which is brought to a high temperature by the firms which lick it externally, causes the. vaporization of the fuel as it leaves the nozzle and its entrainment is produced by the air, 'which is called by the draft, @

through orifices 5 - 6 - 7 of the base, as well as by those 17 of the cone of the nozzle.
It is understood that in order to turn on the apparatus, the bell 18 must be heated by any suitable means.
The device variant shown in Fig. 2 differs from the previous one by the external shape of the body 19 as well as by the detail of the assembly of the nozzle 20 and the connector 21 in the yoke 22 of the base 23. The latter is pierced with smaller holes 24 and the diffuser freely supports the bell 25.
The device imagined is simple to operate, foolproof and economical. It applies to all types of heating appliances for domestic or industrial use.
