Description

DISPOSITIF D'ECLAIRAGE POUR BICYCLETTES, MOTO= CYCLETTES etc.

Fig.2 en est une vue en plan.

LIGHTING DEVICE FOR BICYCLES, MOTORCYCLES = CYCLETS etc.

The present invention relates to an electric lighting and signaling device for bicycles, tocyclettes etc., characterized in that it comprises three lights: a white light applied to the front of the bicycles; a colored light (green or red) intended to signal the bi-cycle to the vehicles following it; a third light flashing a transparent sign for the stopping signal.

These three lights are supplied by a dynamo mounted in the known manner, but which differs from the ordinary in that it is provided with two terminals instead of just one.

A simple switch placed on the handlebars allows the stoplight to be inserted at will.

The invention is illustrated in the accompanying drawings which show a non-limiting example of its embodiment.

Fig.l shows, in side view, a bicycle provided dudispositif lighting object of the invention.

   Fig.2 is a plan view.

Fig.3 is a circuit diagram, according to a first arrangement.

Fig.4 is a diagram according to a second arrangement.

-1- designates the dynamo which is applied on a tilting support to the front fork of the bicycles, and which is for = seen from two terminals -1'-1 "-. Terminal -1'- supplies the main lantern -2- and terminal -1 "- supplies power to the rear light.

On the circuit of the latter is arranged a switch -5-, by means of which we pléuive the power supply for a -stopping signal, with transparent sign, that we turn on or

extinguished at mpiaâkix pleasure, or according to the necessity of circulation.

With this circuit arrangement, the front and rear lights are automatically switched on as soon as the dynamo is started; stop signal -4- on the contrary only lights up when the switch -5- is actuated.

If the electric circuit is arranged according to fig.4, and the switch -5- is replaced by a switch -6-, we can have: the three lights all on, (position A, it = glossy, of the switch); - lights 2 and 3 on (position B); - all off (position C); - only light 4 on * (position D).

With this circuit, during the night, we stay in position B, and we go to position A, when we want to turn on the stop signal; during the day we stay in position C (all off) and switch to position B to switch on the stop signal, for example when driving on a road where traffic is very congested, and when we are going to brake.

ABSTRACT '. EMI3.1 =================; ==. == The invention relates to a lighting system for bicycles, motorcycles and similar vehicles, characterized in that it comprises : a front lantern, - a position light, a stopping signaling light: these three lights being powered by a single dynamo, the stopping light being controlled by a switch. According to a variant of the circuit, the lights are operated by a switch which allows all three to be switched on at will, or independently of the two main lights and the stop signal.
