<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
De tels éléments de construction ont pour avantage de pouvoir être exécutés à longueur indéterminée en ateliers;
EMI3.2

"Construction elements in profiled material".
The present invention relates to the manufacture of construction elements such as window sills, cords, wall coverings, muzzles, lintels, door and window frames, door frames, profiles for the manufacture of window frames, etc. ., the essential characteristic of which is to be constituted by the combination of an envelope made of profiled material and a filling formed, for example, by an inert material or a suitable binder.
It follows from this characteristic that the envelope formed by a duly profiled sheet or plate must have a section which is closed or capable of being so, by the simple fact of its being seated on the corresponding elements of the construction.
By this arrangement we are trimmed. therefore a permanent formwork,
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
into which the filling material can be introduced.
This will advantageously consist of concrete, cement or possibly even an inert material, such as sand, etc.
Obviously, these elements could be supplemented by side flanges obstructing the ends of the element and thus forming protections against the premature disintegration of the filling product. The connection between these attached parts and the construction element itself may be supplemented by sub-joints, joint covers and other equivalent devices.
Also, this arrangement responds to all aesthetic considerations in accordance with architectural requirements.
By way of example, one embodiment of such a construction element is illustrated in the accompanying drawings, in which FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a weir. tre, FIG. 2 is a perspective view similar to the first, but in which one of the flanges has been removed.
FIG. 3 is a perspective view of the flange.
According to these figures and in accordance with the invention, the construction element is therefore formed, for example, by the profiling of an asbestos-cement plate,
The characteristic of this profiling is that it is established so that after introduction into the construction it affects a closed section, the two previously opened edges of the element, respectively 2 and 3, being joined by the sur - corresponding face 4 of the construction.
Thus a formwork is determined, which easily allows filling with a suitable material formed, preferably, by a suitable concrete. This may also include a
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
reinforcement duly established in consequence of the stresses of the elements in the construction. Obviously, this filling will advantageously be carried out before the use of the element, for the purpose of which the latter will be turned upside down, the open part being directed upwards, and the procedure will be carried out in the usual manner according to usage. , for ordinary formwork, .For other constructions, it may be recommended to put in place the construction elements and to carry out
EMI3.1
then the filling.
The process will be obvious, understanding the assignment and importance of the building block,
In addition, this can be supplemented by closing off the side faces, which can very easily be done by adding suitable flanges 6. These are formed by simple covers of similar setions to those of the 'element and the connection can be made by an ordinary joint.
Such construction elements have the advantage of being able to be executed indefinitely in workshops;
EMI3.2
they are then brought èl. foot ... of work and cut, on site, - to useful length.
