Air intake system.
The present invention relates to an air intake system particularly suitable for compressed air piping.
The object of the invention is to provide an air intake which is practically perfect sealing and which behaves as a whole so as to obtain very easy assembly and disassembly.
The type of air intake to which the invention refers comprises a valve which opens towards the inside of the pipe when the end fitting of the flexible pipe is pushed in, for example supplying air to pneumatic tools.
According to the invention, the rod, serving as a guide for the valve, is hollow and serves for the flow of air; this rod is provided, on the side opposite the valve, with an external shoulder serving as a support for the return spring; is pierced with lumens for air flow while the spring is disposed inside the valve body.
The appended drawing indicates by way of nonlimiting example an embodiment of the invention. This extends to the various original features contained in the provision

represented.
The figure is a sectional view of an air intake system according to the invention.
The air intake is screwed onto a nipple welded to the piping. It consists of a valve body A whose end part, screwed into the nipple, carries the seat B of the valve. The actual valve C comprises a cup serving as a housing for a rubber seal D for sealing and a hollow cylindrical rod E serving as a guide and allowing the passage of air.
These two parts are in one piece.
Inside the valve body A and outside the valve stem E, there is a return spring F.
It is supported on one side on a shoulder P of the valve body and on the other side it acts on the guide rod via a ring G fixed to the guide rod E, at the end opposite the valve.
When a pipe is connected to the air intake, the nozzle R of the fitting presses on the ring and pushes the valve away from its seat. Air from the piping passes inside the guide rod and from there passes into the fitting connected to the valve.
When the nut which holds the nozzle is unscrewed, the air pressure and the return spring F abruptly apply the valve to its seat.
The presence of the rubber seal D ensures perfect sealing.
