     On ''connaît aussi des installations de refroidissement dont les parois renfer- mant les produits -comestibles sont constituées par des parois doubles ou multiples en verre dont les feuilles de verre sont isolées par air les unes des autres ..

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 4>

    "Thermo-insulating edible display case comprising a cooling device"
Heat-insulating edible display cases are already known, including a cooling device in various embodiments. The coolers used, in particular for household purposes, generally comprise a special container for the cooling material (glase), which is often established in the form of a closed box and insulated from the outside. There is therefore no intense cooling action produced on edible products placed in such a cooler.

     Cooling installations are also known, the walls of which containing the edible products consist of double or multiple glass walls, the sheets of glass of which are insulated by air from one another.

 <Desc / Clms Page number 2>

   The present invention relates to thermo-insulating edible display cases comprising a cooling device and consists in that the fresh air is led inside the display case by supply and discharge ducts. particular side air, this air cooling on the cooling material, for example ice or the like, being in an open drawer placed below the display case and therefore acting more intensely on the products. edible products to be kept, while the air is evacuated from the display case through a funnel-shaped rying pipe which opens into the air outlet channel.

   An edible display cabinet of this kind, which is composed above the cooler box of glass walls, allows the edible products which are placed therein to be seen unobtrusively and also has a very good cooling effect for them. -favorable.

  An edible products display case comprising a refrigerating device of this type is in fact particularly advantageous for small shops selling edible products and for household use, for which it is not possible to buy an expensive artificial refrigerator for cooling. '
An example of an embodiment of the invention is shown in the accompanying drawing, in which:
Fig. 1 is a longitudinal section of a display case mounted on the lower cooling box.

   Fig. 2 is a horizontal opening of the showcase.

   Fig. 3 is a cross section of the showcase with the refriant box.

   The showcase, open at the bottom, made up of the double glass plates inserted in the four corner columns and which contain air as an insulating agent between their glass plates, is mounted on a cooling box. -

 seed made of wood or other suitable heat insulating material and consisting of a base plate g ', side and rear walls b. and q, of: parts of anterior walls and f1, as well as of the cover plates m leaving a free interior chamber. The upper part of the display case is closed by a cover w, which can also be used to support other products.

  The side of the window facing the seller is closed by two glazed windows 1 and t1, Air supply and exhaust ducts e and el are formed inside the two side walls b and under the plates cover m of the refrigerated box; these conduits are formed by the bottom walls and the inner side walls h and c, then hl and c1, as well as the rear closure walls d and d1, then are also connected to the outer wall b of the cooling box.

   In front, these conduits e and e1 are closed by the front wall parts f and f1 of the re-regulating box, on which are provided from entry and exit openings? and k1 for the air / which are lined with wire mesh, 1 / outside air supplied by channel e in the direction of the arrow in the interior of the display case passes through another wire mesh placed in the left cover plate m refrigerant box Between the inner walls of the air ducts e and e1, a refrigerant drawer q with handle q2, open at the top and coated with a zinc foil q1 which is filled with a suitable refrigerant z, for example artificial or natural ice or other similar product.

   Support plates u and u1 are placed above this cooler drawer and inside the median free recess of the cooler box by placing them on bars or edges p of the cover plates m as well as in upper support bars p1 of the showcase and these

 plates leave between them intervals v and vl of approximately le / m) to allow the cooling air to pass, then the products to be cooled or to be preserved, v, yl, are placed on these support plates.

   The fresh outside air enters through the left duct c and arrives, passing through its upper metal tube m, into the interior of the window, where it is again cooled by coming into contact with the refrigerant material, while the air which is in the display case and which has already warmed a little after its action on the edible products placed in the display case rises and is directed from the upper part of the display case towards the atmosphere by a tube in funnel x fitted with wire mesh k1 and opening into the right hand duct and air discharge. This constant movement of 1,

  % supply and exhaust air also prevents moisture build-up in the display case because this moisture is carried away by the heated air that rises. To remove the melt water forming in the cooler drawer, there is also provided, at the bottom thereof, a purge device q3,
The cooling box edible display cabinet can be constructed in a collected form, where appropriate 70 c / m. length over 40 to 50 c / ms. in width and having a total height of 60 to 75 c / ms., so that refrigerating appliances of this kind fully meet the needs of the retail edible business and household employment.
