Meat grinder machine.
The present invention relates to meat grinding machines and aims to improve the quality of the product obtained while at the same time reducing the driving drill used.
The invention essentially consists in that the machine, object of the invention, comprises a cylinder in which the meat is fed to a knife moving in front of a perforated plate by means of a pressure action obtained, by example by means of a piston moved pneumatically, hydraulically or mechanically, so that the meat is set in motion in the form of a completely closed block in which the different elements do not move with respect to one another. other.

The accompanying drawings showing, by way of example, a chopping machine constructed in accordance with the invention.
Figure 1 is a sectional view.
Figure 2 is a plan view.
As shown in the drawing, the meat grinder, object of the invention, essentially comprises a cylinder 1 which contains the meat and which is closed by a cover 2 provided with a flywheel 3 passing through a cross member 4 connected by uprights. 5 to a flange 6 of cylinder 1.
At the end of the cylinder 1 opposite the cover 2 there is a perforated plate 7 in front of which rotates a circular knife 8 which is actuated by a shaft 9 controlled by a motor shaft 11 with the aid of bevel wheels 12 and 13. The shaft 11 is started by a belt cooperating with a set of pulleys 14.
In the cylinder 1 can move a piston 15 which is actuated in a suitable manner for example by means of a fluid supplied by a duct 16. This control of the piston can be pneumatic, hydraulic or mechanical.
Under these conditions, the meat is pushed by the piston 15 into the perforations of the plate to be cut there by the knife 8 before being discharged through the duct 17.
As will easily be understood, in this machine the meat is moved in the form of a fully closed block in which the different particles do not move relative to each other, as is the case when the 'use is made of existing machines where use is made of a twist which pushes the meat towards the knife and towards a perforated plate.
In these known machines, before reaching the knife, the meat is torn in its fibers by the action of the twist, which makes it unusable for

superior quality cold cuts.
The invention is based on this finding that the meat should not be pressed against the knife by a mechanical member which moves inside the meat but by a force acting from the outside.
In the machine, object of the invention, the meat is moved under the action of pressure, using a member (piston) which does not produce any friction in the mass of meat which is in the cylinder.
The mass therefore does not heat up, given that it only comes into contact with the knife once, which is the only body that rubs it, which improves the quality of the product obtained. From this work without friction, it results also a saving of motive power which in this case is only about a third of the force expended in the existing machines.
Claims.
1.- Meat grinding machine characterized in that it comprises a cylinder in which the meat is brought to a knife moving in front of a perforated plate, using a pressure action, obtained for example by means of 'a piston moved pneumatically, hydraulically or mechanically, so that the meat moves in the form of a completely closed block in which the different elements do not move relative to each other .
