La présente invention a pour but la réalisation d'une composition nouvelle et utile qui doit servir à désincruster les surfaces de chauffe des tubes, chaudières et autres surfaces semblables, ainsi que celles des radiateurs d'automobiles, en un mot toutes surfaces couvertes de tartre. Suivant l'invention, la composition détartrante est formée d'acide muriatique et d'aldéhyde acétique. On mélange de préférence d'abord l'acide muriatique à la quantité d'eau correspondant à la densité que l'on désire obtenir. On ajoute ensuite l'aldéhyde acétique dans lemélange obtenu. Le produit ainsi obtenu est introduit dans l'objet à détartrer; après quelques temps, on enlève le dit produit et on rince à l'eau claire. Ce produit a le grand avantage de ne pas attaquer les métaux tout en opérant un détartrage complet. Il est entendu que l'invention couvre également tous éléments des mêmes groupes comprenant les produits précités. **ATTENTION** fin du champ DESC peut contenir debut de CLMS **.
