La présente invention a pour objet un bas élastique dont la oaraotéristique principale consiste en ce qu'il est forme d'une bande d'étoffe cousue sur la faoe arrière et dans laquelle les fils de ohaine se composent de fils de oaoutohouo oapables de résister au lavage à l'eau chaude ou bouillante, qui sont disposés entre des fils de chaîne d'une matière textile queloonque, par exemple de soie ou de coton.
Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple seulement, une/forme d'exécution du bas élastique selon l'invention.
La figure 1 est une élévation.
La figure 2 est une coupe schématique à plus grande échelle de l'endroit des ooutures.

La bande d'étoffé 3, qui forme uneois oousue le mollet du bas, porte à sa partie inférieure, lorsqu'elle ne oomporte pas de pied,un sous-pied élastique 8.
