Fig. 1 est une vue en élévation latérale des éléments en forme de fils, tordus ensemble en hélice et comportant des poils engagés entre eux à leur extrémité supérieure;
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
poils étant réunis en pinceau et ligaturés;
Fig. 3 monta un pinceau muni d'un marche.

BRUSH AND SIMILAR.
The invention relates to a brush or the like.
The brush, or the like, is notable for an arrangement of the bristles of a brush or the like, engaged between the elements of a pair of wire-like elements or the like twisted together in a helix, at or towards one end of the twist, after whereby the hairs are held together in the form of a tweezer or the like by ligature.
The assembly thus formed can also %% De engaged in a longitudinal perforation made in a body suitable for serving as a handle for the instrument, to such an extent that the bristles protrude at one end,
Embodiments of the object of the invention are given by way of example in the accompanying drawing, in which:
Fig. 1 is a side elevational view of the wire-like elements twisted together in a helix and having bristles engaged therebetween at their upper end;
Fig. 2 is a view similar to that of FIG. 1, the

hairs being brought together in a brush and tied together;
Fig. 3 mounted a brush with a step.
In Figures 1, 2 and 3, a denotes a wire or the like folded or curved in its middle and of which the two elements or legs ± and. ± are twisted together in a helix. The wire a is shaped in a ring in the folded or curved lower part,
Towards or at the free end of elements b and c, bristles d are engaged between and twisted with the elements. A ligature is formed in h (fig. 2) to bring the bristles together in a brush. e (fig.3) designates a brush handle, perforated along its length, while at one end of the handle the perforation is widened at f to receive the ligated part of the bristles d.
The ring g provided at the opposite end of the twist prevents the brush itself from disengaging from the handle.
The assembly of the brush in the handle e is carried out by making the twist of the wire a, furnished with ligated bristles, pass through the perforation of the handle so that the end provided with bristles partially engages in the widening f, after which the ring g at the other end is shaped.
CLAIMS --------------------------------- l.- A brush or the like, characterized by the fact that or towards a At the end of wire-like elements or the like, twisted together in a helix, bristles are engaged between these elements and then brought together and tied in the form of a brush or the like.
