La présente invention a pour objet une épinglebroche dénommée " JEM " qui, d'une application absolument générale, est toutefois plus particulièrement avantageuse pour fixer des fleurs aux vêtements. Les broches courantes ou les épingles dites " de sûreté " qu'on peut utiliser à cet effet permettent tout au plus la fixation d'une fleur en prenant toute précaution pour ne pas en briser la tige.

La broche selon l'invention permet au contraire de fixer un bouquet aussi important que le goût de l'usager peut le dé- sirer et sans qu'il y ait lieu de prendre des précautions spéciales pour éviter de rompre les tiges des fleurs parfai- tement maintenues dans tous les cas.
L'épingle-broche selon l'invention comporte, comme les broches connues, une épingle qui s'articule à une extré- mité sur une barrette de longueur approximativement égale et dont la pointe s'engage dans une pièce d'arrêt prévue à l'autre extrémité de la barrette. Mais elle se caractérise principalement en ce que la barrette, ou son équivalent, est élastiquement déformable.
Telle que définie dans son principe, l'invention se prête à des formes d'exécution diverses qui diffèrent entre elles surtout par la nature de la barrette élastiquement dé- formable.
Cette barrette peut être constituée : - par un ressort à lame unique ou multiple; - par un fil élastique enroulé en hélice, le noyau de fabrication sur lequel peut s'effectuer cet enroulement ayant une section transversale de toute forme désirée ; cir- culaire, rectangulaire ou autre; - par une.matière telle que le caoutchouc.
Etant donné que la barrette peut se déformer élas- tiquement, elle s'adapte exactement au faisceau des tiges de fleurs à maintenir et les serre sans les meurtrir, même si les mouvements de l'suager agissent pour les déplacer.

Dans cet exemple, la barrette 1 de la broche est constituée, par enroulement à spires jointives, d'un fil élastique, métallique par exemple. L'enroulement est effec- tué de façon que l'ensemble affecte-la forme d'un parallélé- pipède. Cet ensemble est élastiquement déformable dans tous les sens.
A l'une des extrémités de la barrette 1 est rap- portée, par soudure par exemple, une plaquette 2 sur la- quelle est rigidement fixée l'épingle 3 , A l'autre extré- mité de la barrette est rapporté un cadre ou une bague de métal 4 dans lequel est forcé un bloc de caoutchouc ou ma- tière équivalente. La pointe de l'épingle 3 s'engage, par déformation de la barrette, dans ce bloc qui la maintient et la protège. Pour la dégager, il suffit de tirer sur les ex- trémités de la barrette pour l'allonger. Le bloc peut aussi être dépourvu de cadre et fixé directement sur la barrette par tous moyens appropriés.
