Description

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 3>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 13>

   Le relais V est excité par'.le contact   173mi.   Pendant la. rotation, le sélecteur d'impul- sions JW, en passant sur les. contacts individuels de décade/;

 <Desc/Clms Page number 14>

   Alors

 <Desc/Clms Page number 15>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 18>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 19>

 accessibles pour le frotteur uw1; les   contacts     correspon=     dnnts   dans le banc des contacts accessibles au frotteur uw2   son.t   connectés au même contact dans le banc d'es contacts ac- cessibles pour le   îrotteur   iw1,   tandis   que les contacts correspondant's des banc s ;

  Assembly for telephone systems, at several intermediate stations.

   The invention relates to telephone installations with several stations. intermediaries and constitution of the desired link channel by adjusting link equipment as a function of use equipment which is influenced by a destination code assigned to the desired intermediate station.

   On this subject, we have already made known provisions in which. the destination code establishes a pyramid of contacts and thereby triggers the control of selectors: for setting on a connecting line leading to the desired intermediate station.

   As the formation of such a pyramid of contacts requires, for numerous destination codes, a great expense in relays, it has been proposed to make the relays set by the destination code act in several parts for the multiple setting of d. 'one and the same pyramid' with a smaller number of floors or several pyramids

 <Desc / Clms Page number 2>

 contacts of the corresponding number of floors, the partial indications thus obtained being received by different selectors whose destination determines the setting. If, for example, one thousand codes are to be received and used in round digits, each destination code is registered in full, for example by energizing a fixed number of ten relays.

   In order to avoid the formation of a ten-storey pyramid urea and consequently a considerable expenditure of relays, a five-storey pyramid is for example twice established corresponding to the action of the recording relay determining for this operation. Each setting is received by a selector with several wipers differing in each case from a selector device serving for the determination of the destination point. Then, by the setting of the ready selector is determined a group of contacts accessible in each case among several for a slider, and a corresponding slider, while by the setting of a second selector, of contacts accessible for the baby walker already. determined is characterized in the same contact group already characterized.

   The present invention follows another route which is characterized by the fact that the destination code in each case is registered as partial codes and each registered partial code causes a relay taken from a group of relays to act. Commonly provided codes for the conversion of stored partial codes which allow a choice in an adjustable selector arrangement for the determination of the destination.

   The recording according to the invention of partial codes offers the possibility of setting one and the same selector in the set-up of selectors serving for the determination of the destination by means of several partial codes, because the codes of different contact required for this purpose can be made in the same selector contact bank (-determination of the group contact and

 <Desc / Clms Page number 3>

 of the individual contact) one after the other, so as to correspond to the partial codes to be used in each case via the relay contacts influenced accordingly, while in a setting of the selectors on a pyramid contacts,

   each setting of the pyramid must be taken from a new selector to avoid code errors.

   In addition, by controlling a selection process by means of each partial callsign, one obtains the possibility of carrying out more clearly the constitution of the assembly of the selectors with regard to the formation of the groups, for example by the formation of groups by decaded. An easy adaptation of the equipment then occurs. selectors to the number of destinations to be characterized. In particular if one must, for example, characterize 1000 destinations, one can set by a selection a group among ten groups of hundreds, by another selection group it among ten groups of tens, and by another selection a corresponding contact. among ten contacts.

   If you register then the destination code again. in three partial codes, each partial code corresponds to a group of hundreds, a group of tens or a group of units. Among ten common relays for the translation of partial codes, one of these characterizes for the translation of the code of the hundreds the choice of.-Hundreds-, for example by the determination of one of the ten wipers of a selector with one hundred divisions, while for the translation of the indicative tens, one determines a determined group of tens and for the translation of the indicative of the units a determined contact of these groups of contacts.

   It is true that provisions with registration of the destination code have already been made known. In these provisions, however, a. jerky advance selector

 seeks in several successive revolutions the indications

 tives recorded in order to measure during each revolution the impulses da courut cor-espoiiduii, "u with the partial code. In the arrangement according to the invention, such an expenditure of time necessary for each revolution of the selector with jerky advancement in the known arrangements is deleted, because the translation of the callsign is done only by the operating time of the relay without special search time.

   For the explanation of the invention, a telephone network with a large number of stations was taken as a basis.

   In the meantime, the pulse selector JW continues its operation, ie in this case only up to contact 19 which follows contact 10, because this contact is characterized by the trotter uw2 with a lower potential.

   So

 <Desc / Clms Page number 15>

 after the premiere. closing of contact 177es, the relay is energized. As after the first current pulse produced by the passage of contact 10, which brought group selector GW1 to the first decade, no further impulse occurred until contact 19 was reached, the selector has usually searched in the first decade for a free group selector, for example GW2. This is then raised by one step by closing the contact Si by the conductor i. By closing contact 180i, relay ES is short-circuited, so that by opening contact 177es, relay J is again without current.

   After opening of contact 1801, relay ES responds again with contact 179h, so that pulse selector JW executes one more advance. Relay J is energized again, so that a new pulse is sent to group selector GW2. The number of impulses towards selector-, group GW2 is de- fined by the number of advances that the selector, of impulses JW must execute from contact 19 until it reaches the closest group contact, ie contact 20. In this case, since the contacts are encrypted in the opposite direction to the jerky movement, 9 feeds are performed. The group selector GW2 is thus raised to the ninth decade.

   The emission of a pulse is terminated by the fact that, after contact 20 has been reached by the baby walker iw2, after de-energization of the relay ES, the relay S is energized and by the opening of contact 138s with switching off of the relay H prevents a new energization of relay ES and therefore also of relay J. If the group selector GW2 has reached a free transmission, for example Ue2, by calling the code, of destination which then stops from there, here not shown, the circuit which passes through the conductor g is later interrupted for the relays G and D, so that, after closing of the contact 137d, the combiner continues its advance ju, squ! at position 6.

 hoe, the winding, I of relay Ja is energized by contact 193k2, so that an alternating current pulse at frequency a is emitted by contact 11ia.

   When the combiner leaves position 13, the relays K2 and Ja are without current, the combiner goes to position 14 in which the relay K8 is energized by the pyramid of. contacts III. By contact 194k8, the windings II of relays Ja and Jb are energized, so that, by closing contacts Ilia and 12ib, a current pulse of frequencies a and b is simultaneously established for each one. When the combiner abandons position 14, the Ja and Jb relays are without current. When it arrives at position 15 by contact 195k8, as the relay K8 is also energized in this position of the combiner by the pyramid of contacts III, an energization of the winding I of the relay Jb is established. , so that after closing of contact 12ib, a current pulse of frequency 'b is emitted.

   It is thus recognized that. the destination code (528) received by the operating equipment AE is transmitted after setting the group selectors GW1 and GW2 in the same form to the next intermediate station. After transmission of the destination code and in some way here irrelevant, the AE user equipment is released and ready for the establishment of another link.

   If the main channel characterized as free by the closed contact 167gh in the previous description were to be occupied for the destination code
528 so that the 167gh contact is open, then after the 166u contact closes, the K relay in the position 5 of the combiner does not energize. As a result, no excitation of relays L and D is established by contact 5k. Relay F is energized by contact 135k and causes the combiner to advance to position 6. In this latter position, the relay, K, tries, using the wiper uw7 which is on contact 31, if the first indirect channel:

 <Desc / Clms Page number 18>

 is free. As then the common contact 168gul is closed, the maneuvers described above do not take place until this moment.

   Then, the emission of pulses to the group selectors is determined by the wiper uw3 bearing on the contact 31, which is connected to another contact accessible by the wiper iw1.

   When the first indirect channel is occupied, relay K does not respond either in position 6 to the combiner (168gu1 open). The combiner goes to position 7 in order to make a test with the baby walker uw8, and if the second indirect path is free (169gu2 closed), to determine the emission of pulses by the baby walker uw4.

   If the second indirect channel is also occupied, relay K does not respond in position 7 of the combiner (169gu2 open). The combiner goes to position 8 in order to make a test with the relay K by the trotter uw9 and when the third indirect path is free (170gu3 closed) to determine by the trotter uw5 the emission of a current pulse.

   When all the indirect channels are occupied, the combiner goes to position 9. Then the relay K responds, so that a determined pulse emission is assigned, by which an auxiliary station is reached by the group selectors.

   Obviously, it is not necessary to provide three indirect routes. The number can also be larger or smaller. Then the auxiliary station is correspondingly characterized later or earlier. ,
In the event that the indirect routes are the same for several destination codes for the main route, it is also not necessary that they be prepared in the same order for the different destination codes.

   For this purpose, it suffices to connect only the characterization lines of the different destination codes with the same main channel to different contacts.

 <Desc / Clms Page number 19>

 accessible for the uw1 wiper; the corresponding contacts in the bank of contacts accessible to the wiper uw2 are connected to the same contact in the bank of contacts accessible to the wiper iw1, while the corresponding contacts of the banks;

   contacts accessible for trotters uw3 to uw8, corresponding to the succession of indirect channels desired for the destination code considered, are connected to the various contacts which determine the emission of pulses for the direct channels individual, in the contact bank accessible to the wiper uw1. In the contact banks accessible to the wipers uw6 to uw8, the connection is made with the common occupancy contacts as shown in figure 2.

   S for example the destination code 529 has the same main channel as the destination code 528, the corresponding characterization line (529) is connected to the contact 32 according to figure 2. The contact 32 accessible to the baby walker uw2, like the main track comes into question, is also connected with the contact 1 9 of the trotter iwl according to Figure 3.

   On the contrary, if the first indirect way for 529 corresponds to the second indirect way for 528, the second indirect way for 529 to the third indirect way for 528 and the third indirect way for 529 to the third indirect way for 528 , the connection of the other contacts 32 is made according to FIG. 2.

   For the same main track and different indirect tracks, multiple wiring (multiplication) exists only for the main track.

   As emerges from the previous description, the relay G, when calling the destination code in. view of its transmission to the next intermediate station, is without current. The same maneuvers operate when, for example, the group selector GWI or GW2 changes to the decade reached by the emission of pulses.

   Then, by the continuation of the operation of the combiner, as the winding II of the relay D is also without current, the indirect channel available

   In the exemplary embodiment described above, the destination code is broken down into three partial codes. These three partial codes are each stored in a pyramid of contacts.
