La présente invention a pour objet un dispositif de poche pour éteindre et préserver les cigarettes. à'éteinàPe Le but est de créer un appareil qui permet d'éteindre instantanément une cigarette allumée et de pouvoir la conser- ver en vue de la réallumer à un moment donné.
Différentes formes de réalisation de pareil dispositif sont possibles et sous une forme élémentaire il sera consti- tué comme un élément emprisonnant le bout allumé de la ciga- rette, de fajon à/r rester fixé par simple adhérence. Cet'é- touffoir peut être combiné avec une partie ou organe protégeant la cigarette contre,la déformation ou détérioration.
Dans-une forme de réalisation pratique, l'appareil con- siste en un étui,tubulaire en matière appropriée quelconque, dans lequel on introduit avec facilité la cigarette de façon que le bout allumé s'engage dans un espace clos de section convenable où l'extinction se produit immédiatement par manque d'air pour la combustion- Le dispositif aura, de préférence, la forme d'un tube largement découpé dans le sens axial, de façon à former une auge d'introduction de la cigarette que l'on fait "'glisser vers le fond fermé du tube qui présente ' un rétrécissement convenable pour comprimer le bout allumé et ses cendres.
La cigarette repose au fond de cette auge et se trouve ainsi protégée contre toute déformation et elle peut être retirée facilement en la faisant glisser hors du récipient tubulaire,
Une forme de réalisation de l'appareil sera décrite ci après avec référence au dessin annexé.
Les figures 1, 2 et 3 représentent respectivement une élévation latérale, une vue en plan et une vue en bout du dispositif.
Un tube 1 à fond fermé et ayant pratiquement la longueur d'une cigarette présente un forage a qui se rétrécit progres- sivement vers le fond fermé. Le tube est découpé sur une partie considérable de sa longueur et parallèlement à l'axe suivant la ligne 3, de façon que l'appareil présente une auge mi- cylindrique, dans laquelle on peut placer facilement la ci- garette allumée avec le bout allumé vers le fond fermé. Ce bout allumé est alors comprimé dans le fond rétréci où l'ex- tinction se produit immédiatement faute d'air. La cigarette reste ainsi coincée et repose dans l'auge formée par la dé- coupure 3.
L'appareil avec la cigarette peut se placer en poche et occuper toute position, sans devoir craindre le dégagement de la cigarette et celle-ci peut être facilement retirée de son réceptacle en la faisant glisser sous une pression du pouce pour dégager le bout,du fond fermé. L'appareil peut être réalisé en toute matière appropriée, comme par exemple du bois, résines synthétiques, métaux, etc.
