<Desc/Clms Page number 1> BOITIER POUR LAMPE A DECHARGEo Le présent brevet à pour objet un boîtier servant simultanément d'ampoule et en général de réflecteur pour lampe à décharge. Les lampes à décharge utilisées par exemple en photographie, en stroboscopie ou autre sont bien connues dans la pratique. Le réflecteur a pour but de concentrer et diriger le faisceau de lumière dans une direction voulue. Le dit boîtier est constitué par exemple d'un tube (1) fermé à une extrêmité,en matière plastique transparente assemblée par collage, mou- lée ou injectée, à l'intérieur duquel se trouve le tube à décharge (2). Sur l'autre extrémité du tube (1) est vissé ou collé un bouchon étanche (3). Le dit bouchon (3) porte un pressé étoupe étanche lui aussi (9) et laissant pas- ser le câble ou fil conducteur (6). Le tube (1) est par exemple revêtu intérieurement ou extérieure- ment d'une couche métallique mince (7) déposée sous vide ou par d'autres pro- cédés physiques ou chimiques, qui réfléchit la lumière. L'arrière du tube (1) peut être revêtu d'une couche opaque (4), celle-ci cache les organes de com- mande (5) du tube tels que bobine d'allumage, etc... La figure 1 montre le tube de profil et la figure 2 le mena tube de face. La figure 3 montre une section circulaire de ce tube. La couche réflectrice (7) peut couvrir la moitié ou plus ou moins de la surface de ce tube. Le tube à décharge (2) est placé autant que possible au foyer du ré- flecteur (7) à l'intérieur du tube (1). La figure 4 montre une coupe identique à la figure 3 mais à sec- tion de forme quelconque. En particulier la surface revêtue par la couche réflectrice (7) peut affecter une forme parabolique, le restant de la surfa- ce libre pouvant avoir une forme quelconque ou calculée de fagon que sa sur- face ($) diffuse la lumière plus ou moins suivant les besoins des 'utilisa- teurs.
