IMPROVEMENT OF FUELS FOR COMBUSTION ENGINES.
The object of this improvement patent is to coordinate and specify the characteristics of the invention, which consists in a method of improving fuels for combustion engines, their combustion and the effects thereof.
The use as a fuel adjuvant for internal combustion engines (gasoline and diesel engines) to improve combustion is known. It has been proposed as such: porphyry compounds, such as chlorophyll, biliverdin, hemin, etc. derivatives of perhydro-cyclopentano-phenanthrene, such as cholesterol, phytosterols, vitamins D, lanolin, and the like. as well as pyrrol and pyrrol derivatives and analogous compounds.
Experience has shown that the admixtures mentioned above have the drawback of drying out the cylinders of the engines, because of their catalytic action of combustion. This has therefore been so activated inside the combustion chamber that the lubricants themselves are burnt off. This removal of lubrication from this direct contact of the piston with the cylinder wall results in considerable energy losses by friction and a detrimental premature measurement of the engine.
The object of the present invention is to remedy this drawback and consists in adding to the fuels for combustion engines an adjuvant capable of producing, in the combustion chamber, by polymerization, by cracking or by any other reaction, a protective layer and / or lubricant. - you on the wall of the cylinder, or on the other mechanical parts of the combustion chamber, which layer will never be excessive, while leaving no fixed residue. The said adjuvant, which can be designated by

reference A, can be used alone or in combination with the catalyst adjuvants mentioned above and others mentioned below, which may suitably be designated by the reference B.
The invention therefore also consists in improving the combustion and / or the effects thereof and more generally the specific qualities of fuels for combustion engines by adding thereto or by placing these fuels in contact with one or more several adjuvants B, capable of giving up oxygen, and / or capable of exhibiting an oxidizing catalytic action so as to improve combustion and with at least one adjuvant A, capable of producing in the combustion chamber, by polymerization, by cracking or by any other reaction, a protective and / or lubricating residue as mentioned above.
Each explosion or combustion phase therefore causes an increase in efficiency in the engine cylinder and the formation of a protective and lubricating residue covering the cylinder and constantly renewed.
As new catalysts B, dimethyleanthraquinone and the like, tetraphenylerubene and the like have been found.
The adjuvant B will also be selected from metal compounds of organic nature; these compounds have been proposed as anti-explosive adjuvants for engine fuels, but it is new to use them as catalysts in the combustion chamber, either alone or in combination with the adjuvants A according to the invention.
By way of example, the adjuvant B will be one of the acetyl-acetates of metals, one of the aminoacetates of metals, an enolate of metals and more especially of copper, nickel, aluminum, chromium or cobalt.
The adjuvant A will be selected from unsaturated organic compounds and more especially acetylenic and polyacetylenic compounds, ethylenic and polyethylenic compounds; In particular, Onguekoa Gore oil, its extracts and its chemical transformation products will be used.
By the use of additives B, the combustion is significantly improved, resulting in a higher content of CO2 (carbon dioxide) in the exhaust or combustion gases in general. This results in a correction of the combustion and in the case of internal combustion engines, gasoline, diesel, turbojets, etc. -, better use of fuel and a marked increase in fuel energy efficiency.
The additives are added in varying proportions depending on the circumstances, but it has been observed that the percentage can remain very low. By way of example, mention may be made of the addition of 1 g of adjuvant A per 10 l of gasoline and of 1 gr. of adjuvant B in 1000 liters of gasoline, gives surprising results; the primary ignition is better the combustion is perfect and complete, more intense and faster and this results in a considerable saving of fuel and an increase in efficiency, while safeguarding the engine.
The adjuvants will be introduced into the fuel, in the liquid or gaseous state or in the state of fine dispersion during its journey to the combustion chamber.
The invention further provides for the addition to solid or liquid fuels for direct combustion engines (turbojets, etc.) of the additives A and B, in combination or separately.
Finally, the invention provides for the addition of adjuvants A and B in combination or separately to the lubricating oils of the engines, essentially the crankcase oil; the same protective and lubricating effects have in fact been observed, which translate into fuel savings.
