Cette invention se rapporte aux emballages en carton et en par- ticulier à ceux qui sont destinés à contenir et envelopper des objets fra- giles ou endommageables pendant le transport comme les tubes écrasables ap- pelés à renfermer des pâtes, des crûmes, ou des pommades, des bouteilles, des flacons, des fioles ou des objets du même genre.
Toutes les fois qu'on doit envelopper des tubes écrasables comme ceux qui contiennent des pâtes dentifrices ou des produits analogues, il est important que l'extrémité repliée ou sertie formant le fond obturé du tube soit convenablement protégée à l'intérieur de l'emballage de carton.
L'emballage en carton qui fait l'objet de l'inventi on est remar- quable en ce que, quand il est en position montée c'est-à-dire en position d'utilisation, il a une forme tubulaire rectangulaire et comporte, à une ex- ttémité, des supports internes sur lesquels le tube ou autre objet à envelop- per est suspendu à l'intérieur de cet emballage. Grâce à ce mode de suspen- sion du tube, l'extrémité inférieure de celui-ci peut être maintenue à l'é- cart de la base de l'emballage, ce qui évite tout endommagement si l'emballa- ge tombe sur sa base.
Si désiré, l'extrémité inférieure du tube ou autre objet peut être convenablement maintenue de manière à ne pouvoir se déplacer latérale- ment à l'intérieur de l'emballage en carton grâce à des supprots appropriés aptes à assurer la position convenable c'est-à-dire le centrage du tube dans son emballage.
Comme on le conçoit, ce nouveau mode d'empaquetage fondé sur un principe nouveau consistant à suspendre le tube ou autre objet à l'intérieur de l'emballage n'est applicable qu'à condition que le tube comporte des colle-

rettes appropriées ou bien une partie formant col apte à porter contre les supports internes par lesquels sa suspension est assurée.
Pour la facilité de la compréhension et de la réalisation indus- trielle de l'objet de l'invention, il est décrit ci-après en regard du dessin schématique annexé dans lequel :
La figure 1 est une vue montrant à plat l'ébauche d'un emballage en carton capable, après repliement selon la forme tubulaire rectangulaire convenable, de posséder les qualités et de jouer le rôle ici prévus.
La figure 2 est une vue en coupe verticale d'un emballage tubu- laire rectangulaire en carton tel que le prévoit l'invention, un tube écra- sable, tel qu'un tube contenant une pâte, une crème ou une pommade, étant logé dans cet emballage suivant la position qu'il doit y occuper.
Les figures 3 et 4 sont des vues de détail méttant en évidence de quelle façon le tube écrasable est engagé dans l'emballage en carton et y est maintenu.
L'emballage en carton dont il s'agit ici est établi (comme re- présenté) à partir d'une ébauche pourvue de plusieurs pliures disposées de telle sorte qu'après pliage l'emballage ait une forme tubulaire rectangulai- re et soit obturé par des pattes de fermeture 2 et 3 formant ses fonds supé- rieur et inférieur et s'emboîtant comme à l'ordinaire dans le corps de l'em- ballage.
A l'extrémité de l'emballage qui doit constituer son fond supé- rieur, c'est-à-dire à son extrémité où se place le bouchon fileté 4 du tube 5, sont prévues deux pattes adjonctives 6 à raison d'une de chaque coté de l'emballage. Chacune de ces pattes 6 mesure une longueur suffisante pour s'étendre jusqu'au coté opposé de l'emballage et est munie d'un orifice cen- tral 7 égal ou supérieur au diamètre du col du tube 5 ou au pourtour externe de la partie inférieure 8 du bouchon 4 du tube 5 mais inférieur au diamètre de l'épaulement 9 du tube et à la collerette supérieure 10 du bouchon 4.
Chacune des pattes 6 est pourvue d'un pointillé central 11, de façon à pouvoir être repliée ou rabattue vers le bas dans le corps de l'em- ballage en carton, en sorte que chaque patte ménage deux entailles ou creu- sures de forme semi-circulaire ou analogue.
Il est essentiel que quand chaque patte 6 ainsi conformée est re- pliée, sa moitié supérieure 6a fasse office de support et que le bord 12 de sa moitié inférieure 6b s'engage soit contre l'épaulement 9 de l'objet, soit contre la face interne du flanc de l'emballage en constituant ainsi un étai ou support pour la moitié supérieure 6a de la patte.
Quand on introduit un objet, tel qu'un tube écrasable contenant par exemple une pâte dentifrice, une crème ou une pommade, dans les condi- tions que montrent les figures 3 et 4, les pattes adjonctives 6 formant sup- ports sont ouvertes à l'écart de l'extrémité de l'emballage et le tube 5 y est partiellement insérée Mais avant insertion complète du tube 5, chaque patte 6 est repliée autour de son pointillé central 11 -(comme le montrent les traits interrompus dans la figure 3) puis les entailles 7 de forme semi- circulaire ou analogue sont placées autour de la partie la plus grêle du col du tube 5.
Celui-ci est ensuite engagé plus avant dans l'emballage jusqu'à ce qu'il soit empêché de pénétrer d'avantage par le verrouillage dû à l'enga- gement des supports repliés contre les cotés internes du corps de l'emballage, ainsi que le montre la figure 4.
L'extrémité opposée, c'est-à-dire l'extrémité inférieure, de l'em- ballage en carton peut avoir n'importe quelle forme convenable. Quand chaque patte ainsi constituée est repliée à la hauteur d'une de ses pliures diagonales et rabattue par-dessus l'extrémité du corps de l'emballage en carton, la partie repliée de la patte est engagée dans le corps de l'emballage et constitue des supports latéraux qui soutien- nent l'extrémité repliée ou sertie formant la partie terminale étanche du tube écrasable 5, tandis que la patte de fermeture terminale 3, une fois in- sérée en position, maintient en place les pattes de support. Il en résulte que le tube de pâte, de crème ou de pommade est immobilisé contre tout bran- lement latéral et maintenu bien centré dans son emballage, comme le montre la figure 2.
