Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 3>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 4>

 couvercle 2.

 <Desc/Clms Page number 5>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 6>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 7>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 8>

   The present invention relates to an apparatus intended to receive traded orders or for similar purposes, this apparatus being put into working order by the insertion of a coin and by the passage thereof through a coin. parts checker.

   People retained by their professional occupations during the day, visitors, as well as passing travelers, are often deprived of the possibility of purchasing the goods displayed in the shelves due to the closure of the sales shops. On the other hand, the watches exhibited in stations, airports and theaters are also a display of merchandising likely to interest the public, but which the latter cannot acquire on site, but is obliged to pass through. control in a complicated way.

   To remedy these drawbacks, the invention suggests installing, near a display or a watch, a

 <Desc / Clms Page number 2>

 apparatus intended to receive orders for goods and which makes it possible, after insertion of a coin, to place an order and to receive a receipt attesting to the payment.

   This device has a microphone to which a tape recorder is connected, as well as a receipt dispenser.

   The device can be controlled and deactivated from the outside using a coin and push buttons.

   Insertion of the coin puts the tape recorder into a recording state, so that the spoken command can be recorded on the tape through the microphone. After the order has been placed, the actuation of a pushbutton determines the issue of a receipt and renders the device inoperative.

   The tape recorder is advantageously placed outside the machine to order goods, so that the latter can have reduced dimensions, the recorder being connected to the device by a shielded microphone cable.

   The pushbuttons are combined by means of an articulated lever and are actuated in the manner of a toggle switch. These buttons control a contact device, a pilot light and the tape recorder and bring the receipts from a stack of cards or tickets in a card magazine to the distribution trough. Means have been provided for regulating,. using a time relay, the time during which the device's tape recorder remains energized.

   A coin checker ensures that the device does not return false coins, without being turned on by them,
The accompanying drawings represent an exemplary embodiment

 of the apparatus, an example to which the invention is however not limited. In these drawings:

   The rear wall 33 of the housing 1 of the automatic device for controlling the goods is provided with holes
34 for the fasteners and a cable entry 35, which prevents the penetration of rainwater. The outer edge of this housing has a hollow rib 36 which goes around it and which, on the one hand, serves to reinforce it and, on the other hand, prevents the penetration of rainwater into the housing. The cover 2 is pivotally attached to the housing 1 by means of a hinge 37.

   On the outside of the cover 2 are provided the coin insertion slot 7, the indicator lamp 6, the vents 38 behind which the microphone is located, the coin return button 11 and the safety lock 12 serving. to close the cover 2. An instruction plate 39 is used to indicate the succession of the work to be carried out.

  The right push button 29a is fixed in the cover 2 by means of a guide 40 and a lock nut 41 (fig. 4), the left push button 29b also being fixed in this cover to using a guide 40 and a lock nut. the shutter 31, articulated to the cover2 by the hinge pin 42 (fig.3). serves to mask the delivery opening 43 of the card distribution system, 30, provided in the

 <Desc / Clms Page number 4>

 cover 2. In order to ensure the permanent closure of the shutter 31, the latter can be provided with a counterweight or a spring (not shown).

   The microphone 3 (Fig. 2) is resiliently mounted and retained in the microphone holder 5 and protected from jolts, by means of a foam rubber band 44.

  The microphone is connected directly by a shielded microphone cable 45 (fig. 6) to a known tape recorder 46.

  As soon as this recorder is switched on, the microphone is ready to receive lyrics.

   The tape recorder is switched on as follows: the inserted coin is first checked, as is known per se, in a coin checker 8. The latter consists of a pair of guide plates 47 (freezes.

  2 and 4) which, like the coin introduction slot 7, are oblique with respect to the vertical.

   The coin descent corridor 48 has a continuous longitudinal groove which has the same width as the coin and a reduced depth. The corridor shows the inclination above. so that the part's own weight outweighs its own friction and that the latter can travel the groove. So that a normal part cannot accidentally fall, by lateral tilting, out of this groove oriented obliquely with respect to the vertical axis, the upper guide of the part is also ensured. by means of a rail 50 mounted to pivot about the axis 49 and provided with a groove in the same way as the passage 48, this rail being able to be adjusted using an adjusting screw 51.

   In this way, a normal part is sufficiently guided, up and down, towards the part checking system, so that there is no risk of it tipping sideways. After having passed between the side flanges 52, a normal part engages in the channel a mon-

 <Desc / Clms Page number 5>

 naie 16, falls into the latter and presents itself before ejecting parts 25 (fig. 4).

   When an imitation coin or washer has an abnormally small diameter, it falls sideways and enters the second coin channel 17 which it passes through to end in the card distribution trough 30.

   When the diameter of an imitation coin or washer is sufficient, but its thickness is too small, this coin or washer tends to get askew when it passes through the respective grooves of the corridor 48 and rail 50, this because of its own weight and oblique guidance. The movement of the rail 50 around the axis 49, under the action of an electro 9, releases a part or a washer thus stuck, depriving it of its upper guide 50 This part then falls into the distribution trough of cards 30 through the coin channel 17, as described above.

   The electro 9 has a lever armature and attracts this as soon as the automatic goods control device is switched on (fig. 6). When the circuit is interrupted, a tension spring 53 pushes the armature apart, and the rail 50 is lifted by the pin 54 which is in contact with the lever armature electronics. Thanks to this arrangement, the inserted coin is restored in the event of a current fault - which also deactivates the tape recorder 46 -, because in this case, the electro 9 does not work, while the spring 53 exerts a traction, which has the effect of lifting the rail 50 and thus depriving the part of its guidance.

   The same applies when the tape recorder 46 is not switched on, because in this case the automatic device for ordering the goods is off (fig. 6). In addition, the circuit can be interrupted at any time by pressing the coin return button 11. The button sensor 10 located behind the pressure button 11, interrupts the circuit.

 <Desc / Clms Page number 6>

 electric. Furthermore, the electrical circuit is interrupted following the actuation of the right-hand pushbutton 29a, which actuates the final feeler 21 via the coin ejector 25.

   This is essential, firstly, so that the extra introduced coins return when the tape recorder 46 is operating and, secondly, so that, when the card or ticket ejector 26 is blocked by the counterweight 14 (empty state of the card magazine 15) the coin ejector 25 cannot be pulled back (see below).

   The controlled part 55 falls into the coin channel 16 in front of the coin ejector 25 (Fig. 4). The pressure spring 56 presses the latch 24 against the recess 57 of the coin ejector 25. When the push button 29a is depressed, this results in the coin ejector 25 moving towards the end. before, while the edge of the part 55 depresses the latch 24, until the latter engages the cutter 58 of the part ejector 25. The part 55, which has been made to slide until there, it then falls into the money box 32 which is located below.

   It is impossible to push the coin ejector 25 fully in the absence of a coin 55, because in this case the edge 59 of this ejector would meet the latch 24 held under tension by the pressure spring 56 and which moves on the oblique surface 60 of the coin ejector 25. When the right pushbutton is actuated
29a and that the coin ejector 25 is moved forward, after having introduced a coin 55, this simultaneously results in actuation of the final feeler 21 by the oblique plane 61 of the coin ejector 25 ( fig. 5). As shown in the drawings, this has the effect of interrupting the electric circuit for the electro 9; moreover, this results in the closure of the circuits of the pilot lamp 6 and of the tape recorder 46.

   The indicator lamp 6 lights up and the recorder

 <Desc / Clms Page number 7>

   belt starts up. A command can now be transmitted by speaking into microphone 3. The duration of this cycle can be limited using a time relay.

   Once the order has been placed, the left pushbutton 29b is pressed, so that the card magazine 15 issues a receipt card or receipt from the reserve 13. The right pushbutton 29a and the left pushbutton 29b do not. can be operated only in correlation with each other, since only one of these buttons emerges at a time.

   The articulated lever 27 of the push buttons 29a and 29b is mounted to oscillate on a pivot 62. The two forked ends 63 of the articulated lever 27 are each engaged on a pivot 64. The right end of this lever is connected to the ejector. 25, while its left end is joined to the ticket ejector 26. In order that this demodromic movement ends in each of the extreme positions as positively as possible, a spring of pressure is provided. - sion 28 which takes an arcuate shape in each of the extreme positions of the push-buttons.

   A support stop 65 of the pressure spring 28 is rigidly integral with the articulated lever 27, while the other support stop 66 of this spring is mounted to pivot around the ankle 67.

   The movement of the support stop 66 of the spring is limited by two oblique surfaces 68, which strike the wall 69 The initial actuation (depression) of the push-button 29a already had the effect of making the button come out. push the left 29b through the articulated lever 27. From this
 EMI7.1
 In fact, the stack of tickets 13 (Fig. 3), which rests on the ticket ejector 26, including the counterweight 14, have descended from one ticket thickness. Henceforth, the first ticket from below rests on the right and on the left on the two support plates 70, the arrangement being such that, when the

 <Desc / Clms Page number 8>

 push-button 29b, which pushes back the ticket ejector 26 in front of it, this ticket is caused to slide out of the ticket store 15.

   In addition, and under the action of the articulated lever 27, the right pushbutton 29a is returned, together with the coin ejector 25 'to the initial starting position, while the circuits of the indicator light and of the tape recorder open. The receipt ticket falls on the oblique feed chute 71 and slides into the ticket distribution trough 30, from where it can be withdrawn after opening the shutter 31.

   As soon as the stack of tickets 13 is exhausted, it is no longer a ticket, but the counterpomds 14 which comes to be placed in front of the ticket ejector 26 ,, thus preventing the depressing of the push-button 29b. The tape recorder is then engaged, but the electro 9 circuit remains interrupted.

   In this way, the rail 50 of the coin checker 8 remains raised by the tension spring 53, so that the coins now introduced fall through the coin channel 17 and end at the ticket dispensing trough 30, given that the absence of an upper guide.

   Thus, a receipt ticket is delivered prematurely during the last start-up, given that the ticket ejector 26 is unfortunately blocked. This happens because the last ticket 72 of ticket stack 13 was put in after being turned 9. This last 72 ticket is

 already released, r as a result of the depression of the right pushbutton 20a VLJAUJi-1 is not stopped by the two retaining plates 70. E / 72 reaches the ticket dispensing trough. 30.
