"Procédé de préparation de fils teints irrégulièrement" -1-1-1- Société dite ! 1 A3THQ DYE VORKST Ino..
-1-1-1-
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
EMI3.1
aux libre. du fil et niadhbnnt que faiblement à leur surface;

"Process for preparing irregularly dyed yarns" -1-1-1- So-called company! 1 A3THQ DYE VORKST Ino ..
-1-1-1-
The present invention relates to irregularly dyed yarns and, more particularly, to yarns.
EMI1.2
Improved irregularly dyed cellulosics and their preparation process.
The yarns according to the invention are in particular characterized by the fact that they are dyed absolutely at random and are resistant to washing, to bleaching with hydrogen peroxide, to light and to mechanical stresses.
The term "absolutely random dyed yarn" as used herein defines a yarn dyed at various locations along its length with varying intervals.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
between the tinted areas, and varying sizes of these areas, following a non-repeating pattern and, in fact, without any determined pattern * Tiooua formed of absolutely randomly dyed fila exhibit an irregularity effect, where tinted areas of dimensions variables following one another at irregular intervals, and not showing any repetitive pattern,
no recurring design, no design forming chevrons or stripes, nor, in reality, any specific design.
The process according to the invention is characterized in that it consists in injecting at least one complexion = liquid composition into at least a selected part of a spool of thread which is then left to stand until the chemical reaction between the dyeing and yarn fibers has occurred.
According to another characteristic of the invention, the aforementioned dyeing composition essentially comprises a dye which reacts with the fibers, an alkali and a solvent such as water.
According to yet another characteristic of the invention, one or more injections of the dyeing composition indicated above can be carried out in the spool of thread, using various colors, depending on the effects which one wishes to obtain,
The dye can be injected into the spool of thread by any suitable means such as a hollow injection needle, a forced air stream, or a perforated cone, pressure mud.
The invention also relates, as new industrial products, to the yarns or fibers, spools of yarns obtained by the aforementioned process and to fabrics or other articles made from these yarns or fibers,
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
The dyeing materials heretofore used for irregular dyeing were not resistant to washing, bleaching or mechanical stress. The lack of resistance to washing and mechanical stress is due to the fact that the dyes used did not set.
EMI3.1
to free. thread and niadhbnnt only weakly on their surface;
It is not possible with dyes * 6 # MUO ## to effect fixation in the spool by the oxidation and vaporizing oil-based mithddeb when washing fabrics formed from these irregularly dyed non-resistant yarns! the dye dissolves in the washing water which causes the threads to rub off on the entire fabric,
EMI3.2
In order to solve the above-mentioned problem of lack of strength, the textile industry has had to deal with zone-by-zone dyeing. One of the known zone-by-zone dyeing processes has been to wind the yarn or echo.
EMI3.3

finally to dry the wire and to the ronvidor one reel.
The zone-by-zone dyeing process described above is undesirable because of the high labor costs involved, the length of time required for its implementation, the importance of the labor force involved. equipment that must be used, and doors are dyed as a result of
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
very incomplete dyeing, solvent on the thread.
However, the most serious drawback of the above-described method of zone-by-zone dyeing of yarns resides in that the fabrics formed from the resulting zone-by-zone dyed yarns exhibit undesirable streaking or repetitive patterns or else forming enivrons. , due to the fact that the echovoals were hung in the dye.
The most widely used process for the production of zone-dyed yarns is a roll printing process in which the dye is printed onto the yarn in various colors at various locations along the yarn, but in a pattern. repetitive design, The main drawback of this process lies in that it forms, on the thread and in all the fabrics obtained from it, an undesirable recurring design,
due to the repetitive nature of the printing rollers * This process is further 4 discouraged or due to the high cost of engraving or embossing the printing rollers * Each modification of the design requires the use of rollers printing imprinted or embossed in a different manner, so that it is industrially practicable to produce small quantities of a given yarn alone by this printing process.
The invention will be better understood on reading the detailed description which follows ot h. the oxamon of the accompanying drawing, which represents, by way of nonlimiting example, one embodiment thereof.
In this drawing - figure 1 is a top plan view of a conical coil of dyed yarn according to the invention;
