"Variété de rosier hybride de thé à fleurs mi-doubles vermillon hollandais" <EMI ID=1.1> hollandais de ses fleurs;
<EMI ID=2.1>
<EMI ID=3.1>
<EMI ID=5.1>
furent obtenues.
<EMI ID=6.1>
<EMI ID=7.1>
<EMI ID=8.1>
<EMI ID=9.1>

IDENTIFICATION
Pour permettre d'identifier ce rosier hybride de thé à fleurs mi-doubles vermillon hollandais, il est annexé- à cette description, à titre d'échantillon, une reproduction photographique des éléments distinctifs de le. plante et de sa fleur, et représentant : Fig. 1 - un spécimen de jeune pousse; Fig. 2 - un spécimen de bouton avant l'ouverture des sépales; Fig. 3 - un spécimen de bouton à l'ouverture des sépales; Fig. 4 - un spécimen de bouton à l'ouverture des pétales; Fig. 5 - un spécimen de fleur en cours d'épanouissement; Fig. 6 - un spécimen de fleur épanouie, vu en plan, à l'avers Fig. 7 - un spécimen de fleur épanouie, vu en plan,au revers; Fig. 8 - un spécimen de réceptacle montrant la disposition des pistils (étamines supprimées);

"Hybrid tea rose variety with half-double Dutch vermilion flowers" <EMI ID = 1.1> Dutch of its flowers;
- great ability of the plant to emit long stems and flowers of long duration, allowing the production of cut flowers in the open air.
In. due to the characteristics listed above,
the present invention meets the needs of the horticultural industry for all uses relating to the ornamentation of parks and gardens.
The aim was to create a variety which would derive the aforementioned advantages from a genetic combination involving two progenitors whose respective prior study made it possible to expect, in their common progeny, the appearance of the desired characters.
The rose chosen as female progenitor was the
<EMI ID = 2.1>
sounds the brand "SUFER STAR"; the one chosen as male progenitor was the product of the fertilization of two unpublished seedlings
<EMI ID = 3.1>
The artificial fertilization operation thus performed is therefore expressed by the following schematic formula: <EMI ID = 4.1> The fruits formed, following this directed fertilization, were extracted from the seeds whose cells were the result of the combination of existing factors in the cells of the progenitors and by virtue of which these progenitors were precisely chosen.
Having sown said seeds, 490 seedlings
<EMI ID = 5.1>
were obtained.
After. have eliminated all deficient or abnormal subjects, had whose characters differed from those making
<EMI ID = 6.1>
remaining subjects, so as to continue the work only on rosebushes at all points conforming to those produced and marketed by professional nurserymen.
<EMI ID = 7.1>
thus formed was undertaken; a study in which all the grafted roses were systematically eliminated except for one which came closest to the target.
This rosebush produced flowers of a Dutch verrrillon color, very original and very luminous; it was,
<EMI ID = 8.1>
long and long-lasting flowers, allowing the producio:
of outdoor cut flowers.
Technical tests (hot, cold, eye grafting
<EMI ID = 9.1>
hot, cold greenhouse, etc ...) were then undertaken to check the behavior and productivity of the variety <EMI ID = 10.1>
the importance of creating a variety box for its industrial exploitation by nursery professionals; for the ornamentation of parks and gardens.
The characters and properties of the new variety, obtained as indicated above, are strictly transmissible by the agame route, also known as asexual, that is to say by any means of vegetative propagation, in particular by grafting an "eye" which will be referred to commercially under the name of Meisadina eye 0871 F and which will be found both on industrial plants and on cut stems subsequently issued in the trade. Thus will we obtain again the variety of rose -object of the patent- whose botanical and descriptive characteristics from plants grown outdoors in Cannet-d sMaures, Var, France, are listed below:
