Abstract

On soumet des cellules, par exemple génétiquement modifiées comme de l'hydribome, qui sécrètent une substance antigénique, à encapsulation au sein d'une membrane dont les pores peuvent laisser passer les antigènes sécrétés mais retiennent le cellules. On injecte les capsules à un animal, dans lequel l'antigène extra-capsulaire provoque la production, par des lymphocytes, d'anticorps complémentaires de l'antigène. L'anticorps peut etre récolté par prélèvement sur l'appareil circulatoire de l'animal. Application: purification de matières biologiques et essais pour diagnostics.
