Abstract

Une composition améliorant l'efficacité de l'utilisation de l'alimentation par un ruminant, qui comprend comme composant actif, une ou plusieurs cultures microbiennes, capables d'ajuster le rapport pondéral d'acide acétique à acide propionique à une valeur optimale, de préférence de 1,5 à 4,0:1 et de se développer dans le rumen, et d'y persister pendant au moins 60 jours, éventuellement en mélange avec des supports, diluants, conservateurs habituellement utilisés dans l'élevage animal et des substances nutritives et/ou autres administrées classiquement à des ruminants.
