Abstract

Cet ustensile comporte un manche (1) et deux branches (2 et 3) munies de butées (4 et 5). Le fil est disposé d'une extrémité de branche à l'autre. Ces extrémités sont scindées par des fentes (6 et 7) de manière à ce que les couples de demi-branches (8,9 et 10,11) constituent des machoires souples (12 et 13). L'utilisateur a besoin d'environ 10cm de fil dentaire. Il enroule le début du fil d'environ deux tours dans la rainure (14), passe le fil dans la machoire (12), puis tout en maintenant les branches rapprochées, il enroule le fil d'environ deux tours dans la rainure (15) et l'insère dans la machoire (13).
