Abstract

Procédé de préparation d'une matière minérale floculée qui peut etre utilisée pour former un article à haute température sans amiante, présentant une résistance à l'eau, on met en contact un gel de silicate en couches gonflées qui présente une charge moyenne par unité structurale allant d'environ -0,5 à environ -1 et qui contient des ions interstitiels échangeables avec au moins une espèce de cations dérivant de la guanidine pour effectuer ainsi une réaction d'échange d'ions entre au moins certains des ions interstitiels échangeables et au moins certains des cations dérivant de la guanidine. Application à la fabrication de papiers et/ou feuilles et/ou fibres sans amiante.
