Abstract

Procédé consistant à effectuer la bromation en milieu solvant organique qui est un hydrocarbure halogéné, de préférence le bromure de méthylène, et en présence d'un catalyseur de bromation qui est un halogénure d'aluminium choisi entre le chlorure d'aluminium et le bromure d'aluminium. Ce procédé permet d'obtenir du décabromodiphényléther de haute pureté.
