Abstract

Procédé consistant à préparer du produit sousbromé et à perbromer les sous-produits de cette réaction. Les opérations sont exécutées dans un solvant organique halogéné en présence d'un catalyseur de bromation qui est un halogénure d'aluminium choisi entre le chlorure et le bromure d'aluminium. Ce procédé convient notamment à la préparation d'octabromodiphényléther et de décarbromodiphényléther.
