Abstract

Système à fil de guidage, destiné au guidage d'un long cathéter flexible à travers un patient, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend : un fil de guidage présentant une extrémité proximale et une extrémité distale et d'une longueur supérieure au cathéter, un fil d'extension comportant une extrémité proximale et une extrémité distale; et un dispositif connecteur pour permettre de réaliser une connexion de l'extrémité proximale du fil de guidage avec l'extrémité distale du fil d'extension, de manière à prolonger ainsi la longueur effective du fil de guidage.
