Abstract

Изобретението се отнася до фармацевтичен състав, който съдържа мелатонин и поне едно антихипертензивно съединение, до метод за лечение на пациенти, резистентни към антихипертензивни средства в отсъствие на мелатонин, до метод за понижаване на нощното кръвно налягане при пациенти с нарушен ритъм в кръвното налягане - в отсъствие или присъствие на антихипертензивни средства. Изобретението се отнасяи до метод за повлияване на пациентите поне с единот посочените ефекти, например подобряване на настроението и дневното бодърстване, забавяне на пиковата стойност на кортизол, също за потенциална профилактика и защита срещу пагубните ефекти от исхемия на сърцето, при това мелатонин се прилага в ефективни количества и по подходящ начин.
