Abstract

"MéTODO CONTìNUO PARA PREPARAR UMA DISPERSãO OU EMULSãO ESTáVEL E MéTODO PARA PREPARAR UMA EMULSãO COM ALTA RELAçãO DE FASE INTERNA SEM INVERSãO DE FASE". Dispersões ou emulsões aquosas estáveis podem ser preparadas fundindo-se num dispersor mecânico uma corrente de uma fase dispersa fundida ou líquida com uma corrente de uma fase contínua fundida ou líquida para formar uma dispersão ou emulsão. A corrente de fase dispersa fundida ou líquida contém um polímero que é preferivelmente um sólido à temperatura ambiente, porém fundido a uma temperatura um tanto elevada. o polímero é formado num estado fundido ou formado e fundido através de um processo contínuo de reação, tal como um processo de extrusão, incluindo a extrusão de fundido ou extrusão de composto. Descobriu-se que uma dispersão de tamanho submicronizado e de baixa polidispersidade pode ser preparada através do método da presente invenção.
