Abstract
"COMPOSTOS SEMELHANTES A AMINO CERAMIDA E MéTODOS TERAPêUTICOS DE USO". São fornecidos novos compostos semelhantes a amino ceramida ( 1 ) que inibem a formação de glicosil ceramida ( GlcCer ) pela inibição da enzima GlcCer sintase, desta forma diminuindo o nível de glicoesfingolipídeos. Os compostos da presente invenção possuem atividade de inibição de GlcCer sintase aumentada e são, desta forma, altamente úteis em métodos terapêuticos para tratamento de várias condições e doenças associadas com níveis alterados de glicoesfingolipídeos.
