Abstract

"CANHãO DE FEIXE RADIOATIVO PARA APLICAçõES MéDICAS". Um canhão de feixe (10) de um elemento para tratamento que compreende uma pluralidade de elementos para tratamento (12), cada elemento para tratamento compreendendo uma armação externa óca (14) selada em cada extremidade e uma substância emissora de radiação nela encapsulada. Os elementos para tratamento são alinhados de ponta a ponta, e um fio (18) é enrolado em volta do exterior dos elementos de tratamento para manter sua relação de ponta a ponta. o fio pode ser enrolado helicoidalmente pelos elementos de tratamento, ou trançado em volta deles.
