Abstract

"COMPOSIçãO DE PROCESSAMENTO LìQUIDA AQUOSA, E, PROCESSO PARA FORMAR UM REVESTIMENTO DE CONVERSãO DE FOSFATO EM UM SUBSTRATO DE METAL". A concentração de fosfato, e portanto o potencial de poluição, de composições para fosfatação de alta qualidade convencionais contendo cátions zinco, manganês e, de forma opcional, niquel e cobre, pode ser reduzida sem perda do valor de proteção à corrosão dos revestimentos de fosfato formados mantendo as concentrações dos ingredientes ativos dentro das faixas prescritas. Na maioria das condições preferidas, a resistência à corrosão do aço laminado a frio fosfatado e depois pintado e a aderência da pintura ao aço eletrogalvanizado fosfatado e depois pintado são melhoradas em relação aos valores obtidos com o processos de fosfatação com baixo teor de zinco de alta qualidade mais usualmente utilizados no momento.
