Abstract
"MéTODO E APARELHO PARA A REALIZAçãO DE HANDOFF EM UM SISTEMA DE COMUNICAçãO DE ALTA VELOCIDADE". Um sistema de comunicação incluindo um sistema de controle de potência de malha fechada. Antes de se permitir um handoff para uma, nova estação base, a estação assinante verifica se seu sinal de link reverso está sendo recebido pela estação base de destino com energia suficiente. A determinação é feita com base nos comandos de controle de potência de link reverso recebidos a partir da estação base. Além disso, um handoff pode ser forçado, quando a estação base, fornecendo o melhor sinal de link de emissão, não estiver recebendo o sinal de link reverso a partir da estação assinante com energia suficiente.
