Abstract
"MéTODO DE PREPARAçãO DE PARTìCULAS DE UMA SUBSTâNCIA, E, PARTìCULAS DE UMA SUBSTâNCIA". Um método de preparação de partículas de uma substância, por exemplo selecionada de um flavor, fragrância, pigmento, corante, composto biologicamente ativo ou um material plástico, compreende colocar a substância ou uma formulação (que pode incluir a substância em conjunto com um segundo solvente) em contato com um primeiro solvente que compreende um C~1~-C~4~ hidrofluorocarboneto, especialmente tetrafluoroetano, e submeter a mistura resultante a um processo de separação, por exemplo, permitindo-se que a mistura seja pulverizada como uma névoa (14) de um ambiente de alta pressão em um primeiro vaso (2) para um ambiente de baixa pressão em um segundo vaso (8), causando desta maneira a separação de pelo menos parte da substância do primeiro solvente e a formação de partículas finas (20) da substância.
