"PROCESSO PARA ILUSTRAçãO DE BITS A NãO SEREM ENVIADOS SOBRE UM QUADRO A SER ENVIADO EM UM MODO DE COMPRESSãO". No modo de compressão ("Compressed Mode") estão disponíveis mais casas TFCI do que bits TFCI. A fim de ocupar também as casas TFCI supérfluos com bits e de obter nisso uma eficiência de potência o mais alta possível, está sendo proposto, especialmente para ligações descendentes, a ocupar as casas TFCI que seguem imediatamente ao intervalo de transmissão ocorrente no modo de compressão com bits DTX.
