Abstract

"REAGENTES, MéTODOS E KITS PARA DETECTAR PROTEìNAS DE BACILLUS THURINGIENSIS". Epítopos, anticorpos, métodos e kits para a detecção de proteínas Bt em uma amostra são proporcionados. As proteínas a serem detectadas são as proteínas Bt conhecidas por aqueles versados na técnica como as proteínas Cry1Ab e Cry1Ac. Os epítopos são peptídios antigênicos dessas proteínas Bt e são imunorreativos com os anticorpos monoclonais 113L2 e 113I1. Os epítopos são isolados ou sintetizados e administrados a animais, para produzir anticorpos monoclonais e policlonais anti-Bt, tendo sensibilidade superior para as proteínas Bt. Os anticorpos são úteis em métodos de imunoensaios para a detecção de organismos geneticamente modificados, que tenham sido modificados para incluir um gene Bt.
