"ITENS DE SERVIçO PARA ALIMENTOS DE PLáSTICO BIODEGRADáVEL". Um item de serviço para alimentos compreende um copolímero poliidroxialcanoato biodegradável compreendendo duas unidades monoméricas aleatoriamente repetidas em que a primeira unidade monomérica aleatoriamente repetida tem a estrutura (i) em que R^ 1^ é H ou uma C~ 1-2~ alquila, e n é 1 ou 2; e a segunda unidade monomérica aleatoriamente repetida tem a estrutura (ii) em que R^ 2^ é uma C~ 3-19~ alquila ou uma C~ 3-19~ alquenila. Pelo menos cerca de 50% das unidades monoméricas aleatoriamente repetidas possui a estrutura da primeira unidade monomérica aleatoriamente repetida.
