Patente de Invenção: "CILINDROS PARA DISPOSIçãO NO LADO DE ENTRADA OU NO LADO DE SAìDA DA ZONA DE TêMPERA DE UM FORNO DE RECOZIMENTO CONTìNUO E UNIDADE DE USO DE CILINDROS DA ZONA DE TêMPERA". é fornecido um cilindro que possa ser disposto antes e/ou após uma zona de têmpera de um forno de recozimento contínuo. O cilindro tem um perfil predeterminado satisfazendo Lc <242> 0,7 x W~ min~; R = -0,1 x 10^ -3^ até 0,2 X 10^ -3^; e TR <242> 20, onde Lc representa o comprimento (mm) de uma porção plana no centro do cilindro, W~ min~ representa a largura mínima (mm) de uma tira de aço, R representa a inclinação das porções afiladas dispostas dos dois lados do cilindro, e TR representa o raio de curvatura (m) dos limites entre a porção plana e as porções afiladas. O cilindro pode ser usado como cilindro de soleira e/ou cilindro tensor disposto no lado da entrada e/ou no lado da saída da zona de têmpera.
