Abstract

COMPOSIçãO DE AçO, PROCESSO DE FABRICAçãO E PEçAS FORMADAS COM ESSAS COMPOSIçõES, PARTICULARMENTE VáLVULAS". A invenção refere-se a uma composição de aço compreendendo, expressa em porcentagem em peso; 0,25 0,35 % de C, 24 - 28 % de Cr, 10 -15 % de Ni, 3 - 6 % de Mn, 1,75 - 2,50 % de Nb, 0,50 - 0,70 % de N, 0, - 0,30 % devendo ser C+N <242> 0,8 %, consistindo o restante principalmente de ferro e de impurezas inevitáveis. A invenção refere-se também a um método de produzir tais composições, e válvulas produzidas com tais composições ou utilizando o citado processo, e demonstrando excelente resistência mecânica e resistência à oxidação a temperaturas entre 800 e 900<198>C.
